Performance Venue Production Manager

Goshen College seeks applications for a Performance Venue Production Manager.

The Performance Venue Production Manager (PVPM) will work closely with the Music Center, Events Office, and Theater Department, to oversee all aspects of events occurring in Goshen College’s performance venues (Sauder Concert Hall, Rieth Recital Hall, and Umble Center).  This includes overseeing the communication flow and related processes between service providers, both internal and external, and event coordination for events held in these spaces.

This position is directly responsible for production management of any event in the Sauder Concert Hall, Rieth Recital Hall, and all External and non-Theater Department events in the Umble Center.

This position may also be responsible for other ad hoc locations that require production management such as the RFC for Commencement Ceremonies. The primary work hours for this position will include many evening and weekend hours.  The majority of work for this position is light active work with periodic heavy lifting and working at heights.  (Must be able to lift 40+ lbs and work at heights of 30 feet or more.)

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience: B.A. required, preferably in Arts or communication related field.  Experience in production management preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Driver’s License required, CPR
