No matter if you’ve attended church all your life or if you’ve never been in church – we invite you to experience worship with us. We are an inter-generational church whose mission is to lead ordinary people to extraordinary life with Jesus.

Our worship services start at 10:30am on Sunday mornings. When you visit you can expect… to be welcomed and accepted by a group of everyday people just like you, to find people who love Jesus and desire to serve Him with their lives, an informal and celebrative worship service that is led by a modern band and singers, messages that are biblically based and relevant to your life. Don’t worry about what to wear- just come in what is comfortable for you.

We also have a free lunch on the 2nd Sunday of the month (Sep-Nov & Jan-Apr). The lunch is for college students and young adults. It takes place after church in the room by the kitchen. Hope to see you there!

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church

Pastor: Andrew J. Wollman
18548 CR 18
Goshen, IN 46528
Prince of Peace utilizes the ancient liturgical style that has been around for hundreds of years. We don’t worship as much as we come to be served by God himself through Jesus Christ His Son. This is very unique in our community. Most churches are about worship style so as to entertain the worshiper and make “church” more exciting. We don’t approach church with this philosophy. We believe Christ started his church to serve us with the things we need. Things such as repentance, forgiveness, love, encouragement, and strength to make it another week in a sinful world in sinful flesh. Our time together here is all about receiving God’s good gifts, and praising him for them.

We are just about 6 miles straight North on S.R. 15 from the campus. 10 minutes and you’re here receiving the blessed benefits God has in store for you. We practice the Bible supported tradition of close(d) communion, which means we ask only those who have made the same confession of the Lutheran Christian faith as we have to participate. Others simply wait in their seats and receive all the other gifts God has in store for them. We know when this is misunderstood, it can be taken as unloving, but the truth is, it is a most loving and protective thing we do. Please call the pastor beforehand and ask him to explain this practice; he’d be more than happy to spend the time with you. All are welcome to come and receive all the blessings God has for you! We hope to see you soon!

College Mennonite Church is an open and caring congregation with a heart for nurturing faith development in young adults. Our history is deeply rooted in a connection with Goshen College, and that connection continues today with the many attendees who are GC profs, alumni, current students, and future students. Members of the congregation love to find ways to connect with current students, and many become surrogate parents and grandparents to young adults during their college years.

Congregational worship starts at 9:30 every Sunday morning, but come at 9:15 if you want to participate in our weekly pre-service hymn sing. Following the worship service come join us in Room 144 for the College-Age Fellowship. Russ and Marge Liechty, and Sue Neeb lead the group in an informal time of fellowship (with coffee, hot chocolate, and good food) and discussion of faith. And every Sunday, college students are invited into the home of a member of the congregation for a home-cooked meal.

Our worship services are interpreted in Spanish, and we have a Spanish-language Sunday school class that welcomes college students to join. Our Deaf Christian Fellowship meets weekly at 10:45 a.m. Check out our website for more information about both of these ministries, and check the Communicator for other opportunities to do service and discipleship with people of all ages.

Bethel Missionary Church is equipping people empowered by the Holy Spirit to live out and to proclaim the Message of Jesus Christ.

For many years now, the Bethel family has provided “a home away from home” for several Goshen College students. We are a smaller country church located in Goshen and we are striving to encourage and challenge one another through the relational connections that we have with one another.

Our mission is to proclaim and model Christianity in a culturally relevant way with the goal of developing fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ…followers who GO to the lost with the message of Christ, GROW in their faith through a pursuit of Christ, and SHOW compassion to the poor with the love of Christ. Our service times are 9 and 10:30….I usually go to the 10:30 service and leave at about 10 or so. I am flexible though. We are starting a new series this Sunday (Sept. 7) titled “Tough Questions” in which our pastor is going to try and dissect the most common and hardest questions people have about Christianity and the Church. It should be good!

It is only natural that your life will be challenging at times during your college days. We speak from experience when we remind you to take a break from your hectic campus life to reflect on lessons learned and mistakes made through prayer and the sacrament of Reconciliation. If you find yourself with questions or your faith challenged, please call Father Tony for clarification and conversation. He would also love to hear from you anytime via e-mail:

We encourage your participation as we celebrate the Most Blessed Sacrament and we hope to be your home parish away from home. Let us know how we can help make your college experience one that supports your spiritual life. If you are searching for a meaningful way to become involved at St. John’s, may we suggest the following:

      • We offer R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) on Thursday evenings if you want to learn more about the Catholic Faith. People of all faiths are welcome to attend. Call the parish office for the schedule and the details.
      • Our elementary school needs Mentors to work one on one with some of our students and we have need for certified substitute teachers. Call Peggy at the school office at 533-9480.
      • Where are you in your life’s journey? Our youth group for middle and high school students may need your life experiences and enthusiasm! Call Sara Knight, Coordinator for the Youth Ministry at 533-3385 ext. 214.
      • Our choir practice is Wednesday evening. They sing at the Sunday 10:30 a.m. Mass and for various seasonal liturgies. Call the parish office and they will gladly pass along your interest to our music staff.

Our Mass times are as follows:

      • Saturday: 4:30pm in English and 6:00pm in Spanish
      • Sunday: 8:00am and 10:30am in English, 1:00pm in Spanish
      • Weekdays: 5:30pm on Mondays, 8:00am Tuesday – Friday, 6:00pm on Tuesday – Friday in Spanish
      • Holy Days: Will be posted in our bulletin
      • Reconciliation: Saturday from 3:15pm to 4:15pm (Or call Fr. Tony Steinacker for an appointment at other times.)

Come See What a Difference Faith can Make!

Faith Church exists to empower believers to discover their ministry within the church, and their mission outside of the church to impact the Kingdom of God. All worship services are fairly informal, and you should feel welcome to come as you are.

Sunday Morning:
• Traditional service—8:30
• Blended/contemporary service—10:45. This service is slowly becoming more modern.

Monday night:
• Informal service at 7 PM. This service usually has hymns and some modern music.
• Usually meets between April or May and October or November.

Small Groups and Sunday School classes are often being formed. Please feel free to visit and join any group or class. The time and day will be public on the website soon.

Missions are a large part of Faith. From the school we helped build in Haiti to local work at Church Community Services in Elkhart, we are sure you can find a place with us to reach out and make a difference in our world.
