The Career Services office has researched web sites specifically for graduating students in your major. Some sites include job postings and others offer career advice tailored to your field of study.

  • American Psychological Association:

    • PsycCareers – The APA’s online career center allows users to search jobs, post resumes, and read articles on resumes and interviewing.
    • Early Career Psychologists – Resources specifically for those just entering the field of psychology (Note: many resources are for graduate students, but undergraduate resources are also included)

  • Social Psychology Network

    Contains links to several job banks (including international), job market analyses, diversity-related resources, and advice for resumes and cover letters.


    Search several hundred jobs from across the US related to psychology and social services. (Note: not a good source of Indiana jobs)

  • American Counseling Association

    The ACA Career Center contains a classified section for employment opportunities and several career advice articles. (Note: most positions require an advanced degree)

  • The Idealist Guide to Nonprofit Careers

    The purpose of this guide is to help individuals find meaningful work in the nonprofit sector. Includes an introduction into the world of nonprofits, ways to make yourself a stronger candidate, and learning about nonprofit hiring practices.
