Winter Break Housing Opportunity Exclusively for International Students
As has been the tradition, college housing will be closed over Winter Break. This is done in an effort to increase security and to conserve energy in utilities. During Winter Break, the residence halls, Intentional Living Community houses, student apartments, and dining hall will be closed beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 10 until the Monday before classes resume for the spring term. In an effort to provide International students with options, we are making alternative housing arrangements for those who need on-campus housing during the break. The location will have kitchen facilities for meal preparation. The dining hall will be closed.
The college is willing to absorb most of the costs of this special housing for you. While the typical housing charge is $10 per night, the college is offering you a discounted rate of $4 per night.
In order to secure your reservation, you will need to complete the form below and submit a $10 cash deposit by Thursday, December 5th, in the Student Life Office at Wyse Hall 1st Floor. If there are no damages or missing items, the $10 deposit will be returned to you promptly after the break. Damages assessed in individual areas (e.g. bedroom) will be the resident’s responsibility. If damages or missing items are assessed in a public area, the deposits of all the house members (and any additional fees necessary) will be charged and the cost spread out equally among all residents.
Please complete this application and submit to Student Life by December 5th to secure your room and avoid late charges ($25 after Dec. 6th). Space is limited to 10 students, do not wait.
