I am from the small town of Shickley, Nebraska, where I grew up on a family farm. I graduated from Goshen College in 2014 with a double major in English and TESOL secondary education. As a GC student, I had the chance to participate in many activities, including women’s volleyball, the Women’s World Music Choir, intramurals, and the student-run newspaper, The Record. I also completed a semester abroad in Nicaragua with Goshen’s Study-Service Term, where I taught English at a K-12 school for the six weeks of the service portion and lived with host families. I had a wonderful experience at Goshen College, where I made lifelong friends and got a well-rounded education that taught me the value of lifelong learning and having compassion for others.

I transferred to Goshen College after completing an Associate of Arts degree from Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas.

I’m passionate about helping others to find their interests and achieve their goals. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and helping you navigate your college decision!
