The Goshen College spirit runs deep in my veins, with a great tradition of family members graduating from GC. I graduated from GC last spring with degrees in biochemistry/molecular biology and art. I am proud to call GC my home and am thrilled to be part of our admissions team and recruit bright and talented young minds. While a student here I played on the men’s soccer team, was president of our student government, and a part of our pre-medical club, Men’s Chorus and more. I studied abroad in Nicaragua for a semester through our wonderful Study-Service Term. During that time, I volunteered in a health clinic for six weeks and assisted physicians and nurses with house visits throughout the community, doing mostly primary and preventative care work. I also absolutely loved getting involved with our marine biology program, taking classes at our facility in the Florida Keys and conducting research with graduate students from University of Florida and Old Dominion University. The opportunity to explore my interests through elective credits led me to develop my passion for ceramics and I enjoy working with local potters here in Goshen and being involved in our artisan guild we have in Downtown Goshen.

I love mentorship and can’t wait to hear about what your passions are and how that relates to your future in college. And I’m very much looking forward to knowing you (and your parents) on a personal level to help guide you through your college making decision!
