Nine students, representing Sociology, Social Work, and the Social Work Action Association, and one faculty member recently joined forces with LaCasa for an afternoon of data collection in the Chamberlain neighborhood of Goshen.

LaCasa is a nonprofit that focuses on creating safe, attractive and economically stable neighborhoods. Working in conjunction with NeighborWorks, a national organization, LaCasa is collecting data to assess the impact of their efforts to stabilize and improve the Chamberlain neighborhood. Students walked and biked through the neighborhood collecting data on individual property parcels as well as entire blocks.
