Always
raise with the right hand at about the 5 o:clock position. Never
hold your hand at the 2 or 3 o:clock position.

Note the rings on the
clay here to see if your motion is at the right speed.

If your rings are farther
apart, you are moving up too fast.

If your clay tears off,
you may be moving to slowly or forgetting to move.

As you move up, gradually
change all the pressure to outside only
to keep the top as small as possible.

This produces a vertical
cone shaped cylinder.
