Our MissionWe help youth, individuals and families experiencing life's challenges to stabilize, to become stronger and to move forward with their lives. Together we can provide hope to families by supporting them as they seek to overcome barriers and overwhelming stress. Our AgencyFamily Services is an agency composed of three program divisions: Counseling, Youth, and Self-Sufficiency. The divisions consist of fifteen program services that work as a team to offer significant community resources. We Believe in FamiliesFamily Services of Elkhart County, Inc., is a multi-program agency serving individuals and families living or working in Elkhart County. The agency began in 1948. Local citizens perceived a need for an organization to counsel families and individuals and help improve their social, economic, and living conditions. Family Services believes that the family is the foundation of human development and that change can occur in a compassionate, nurturing environment. All cases are treated with total confidentiality. A client’s privacy is protected by both professional ethics and the law.
