After the math departments's final regular-season game, the team (Brian Crane, Jesse Johnson, Winston Grieser, Steven Cress, Russell Horst, and Yicong Li?) awaits to hear whether they made the playoffs.
As the intermural basketball season progressed, the team took on the name: Let f(x) = (the amount by which we lose game number x). The function f(x) was concave up UNTIL Game 5, when we turned the tide and made it concave down. For this reason, we have taken the alias "The Inflection Points".
Side note: As of Monday night, the function f(x) is no longer strictly increasing.
