Lecture08: More on Defining New Classes
In preparation for class, please do the following:
- Do the normal set up: log on, open this page, open JCreator,
create a lecture folder, and be prepared to take notes and solve problems.
- Either download and unzip this file or download
the files from this folder.
Demonstrations

- ClassyBasketball ClassyBasketball and BBall
are analogous to FaceDrag and FunnyFace (described in the text) which are analogous to
Drag2Shirts and Shirt (described during lecture).

Time Log
Please turn in your current time log by Thursday, January 26, 3:00pm. The time log should be saved in an excel spreedsheet which is submitted via Blackboard
assignment. This is worth 5 points.
Perhaps you have not been keeping a time
log. Well, this is a good time to spend 10-15 minutes trying to reconstruct
what you have done and to set up a method to keep better track in the future.
Below is a sample format from the course information page.
The description only needs to distinguish among lecture attendence, study (reading
the text, working on the exercises, reviewing lecture notes), and working on lab assignments. Note when
you work with someone else.
