Justin Gillette

MemphisTapeJustin Gillette is a Goshen marathoner who is ranked fifth in the world in total marathon victories, with 75 to his credit. He is younger than all of the runners who are ranked in the top four. He currently holds 15 course records and has a best time of 2:25:44. He is featured in the documentary The Last Mile. Justin is a graduate of Goshen College.

Gabriela “Gaby” Romo

Gaby Romo

Gaby Romo, a two-time team MVP who helped lead Goshen High School to a sectional soccer championship,  finished her first season as a midfielder and forward at Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne. She was a leading offensive threat for the Mastodons, scoring four goals in her first season in the Summit League. She is majoring in biology with plans to attend medical school.

 

 

 

 


 

Erick McCollum

14-mccollum_125_11-400x500Erick McCollum graduated from GC in 2010 Since graduation, he has played basketball professionally for some of the top basketball teams in Greece and Israel.

This year, McCollum, who is 25, is playing for Apollon Patra, a team in the Greek Basketball League.The league is ranked as one of the top three leagues in Europe. McCollum had intended to play professional ball in Turkey this year, but after a preseason tournament with the Best Balikesir Basketball Club, he received an offer to play in Greece.

Errick McCollum II holds the single season and career scoring records in basketball at Goshen College. In the spring of his senior year in 2010, as a 6’1” guard, he executed a soaring dunk that became an ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 play.
