Family Weekend 2004

When young adults go off to college, a new independence is found, but their families are still an important part of their experience and support system. Parents and family members of Goshen College students were warmly invited to attend Family Weekend Nov. 5-7, which offered the unique opportunity to experience Goshen College with their students, meet their friends and experience this Christ-centered community of faith and learning.

During the weekend families cheered on the GC men’s basketball team at the Maple City Hoopfest, enjoyed the Fall Mainstage “A Plague of Angels,” introduced younger siblings to dorm life, visited with other parents at the Parents Brunch/Seminar, explored the lively tunes of a Lavender Jazz Concert, got questions answered at the SST Parents Breakfast and were inspired at Morning Song, a student-led worship service.
