Productions Photo Gallery

The Goshen College Theater Department produces a variety of shows, including Mainstages, evenings of One Acts, Peace Plays (a biennial contest of original works), and Senior Recitals. In addition to these shows, the department hosts guest lecturers as part of the Roy H. Umble Master Class.

    Mozart's comic opera, The Marriage of Figaro, combines the composer's characteristic melodies with a witty plot in which hastily improvised and absurd situations contrast to Mozart's beautifully crafted music.

    The play interweaves fiction with historical fact in its exploration of the turbulent life of Jean Rhys, author of Wide Sargasso Sea (1957), a novel that invents the childhood and early life of Mrs. Rochester, the insane and violent wife of Rochester in Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre.
