Peace Plays

The theater department holds a biennial peace playwriting contest, staging the winning play(s) in the fall of alternating years. Underwritten by a grant from the Disciples of Peace, a Middlebury (Ind.) charitable fellowship, the Goshen College Peace Play Contest was established in 1982. To our knowledge, it is the only contest devoted solely to plays about peace and peace-related topics.

The winners of the 2008 Peace Play competition will be performed on October 3, 4, and 5th in the Umble Center.
