Goshen College is a four-year liberal arts
college focused on developing these core values: Christ-centered,
Passionate Learners, Servant Leaders, Compassionate Peacemakers,
and Global Citizens. As a ministry of the Mennonite Church,
we seek to integrate Christian values with educational, social,
and professional life. As a community of faith and learning,
we strive to foster personal, intellectual, spiritual, and
social growth in every person. Goshen College is located in
Goshen, Indiana on a campus of 135 acres. The safety and security
of members and guests of the campus community are of primary
concern to Goshen College.
Students report feeling that ‘the campus is safe
and secure for all students’ through the Student Satisfaction
Inventory in 2004 (mean = 5.96 on a 7-point scale). Each
year the College publishes an annual report outlining safety
and security information summarizing crime statistics for
the campus. You are invited to learn more about the security
programs and policies of Goshen College, and to consider
how you can share in responsibility for your own safety
as well as that of your neighbor and the College.
