Kratz/Miller/Yoder Dorms
Kratz, Miller and Yoder halls are available to single students of any classification who are younger than 25 years of age. Each hall is coed, with men and women on different floors. Students typically live in groups of 20-30 per floor. Leadership is provided by student resident assistants and a resident director.
Expectations/Eligibility
- Students must purchase at the minimum, the 14 Meal Plan.
- Participate in the Lottery Draw on March 20, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Union. After this date, lottery numbers can be obtained in the AD14 office.
- Make a $50 housing deposit prior to room sign up.
- Participate in room sign up on April 4, 2012 at 10 p.m. in AD28.

At room selection you will be asked to demonstrate your commitment to live in harmony with the Community Standards, by signing the following statement:
Goshen College is a Christ-centered college emphasizing the development of a strong and mature Christian faith and a commitment to the church. About
Kratz Hall, built in 1964, provides coed housing for 135 students; men and women live on different floors. Miller provides coed housing for 135 students and was built in 1966; men and women live on different floors. Most rooms are double rooms, although there are a few singles. Recent renovations will equip these halls with new lighting, air conditioning, new closets and tile flooring in the rooms. Windows have blinds for privacy. Laundry, kitchens, lounges and recreation facilities are located in the Kratz-Miller-Yoder Connector. Kratz Hall was named in honor of Clayton Kratz, a Goshen College senior in the 1920s who went to do Mennonite relief work in war-torn Russia and disappeared during his service.
The largest residence hall on campus, Yoder Hall was built in 1960 and provides coed housing for 202 students; men and women are housed on different floors. Student rooms and hallways are newly carpeted. There are a number of pieces of built-in furniture for easy moving in. Windows have blinds for privacy. Yoder Hall is located closest to the Recreation-Fitness Center, beyond the campus tennis and sand volleyball courts. Laundry, kitchens, lounges and recreation facilities are located in the Kratz-Miller-Yoder Connector.
