Cote d'Ivoire snapshots
The SST unit in Cote d'Ivoire began in 1992.
In 1994 Tom and Rebecca Meyers led the group. Students
spent seven weeks in language in Abidjan, before taking up service
assignments across the country.

Esther Mongeui and friend. Esther was the host
mother of SST student Todd Nussbaum.

Mixed agriculture in action. Corn and rice sharing the
same field is a common sight.

Two Harrist women.

Harrist worship service. The Harrists are an
independent Christian church in western Africa. Everyone dresses
the same (in white) on Sunday mornings to minimize visible social
distinctions.
