Mali -- Summer 2001 SST unit

Faculty leaders for the Summer 2001 unit are Sylvia and Robert Shirk Charles. Sylvia is Campus Pastor and head of Campus Ministries at Goshen College. Robert has taught History at Goshen College, and is currently director of European and African programs for the Mennonite Board of Missions.

During the first six weeks, students will stay with host families in the capital, Bamako.

The SST office notes that because of relatively modest communication infrastructure, updates from Mali are anticipated to be less frequent than other SST sites, and may, or may not have accompanying photos. We invite you to re-visit the retrospective website from last summer's 2000 Mali SST unit.
