The Spring 2001 SST unit in the Dominican Republic is over. But this website will remain available.

The students arrived safe and sound on Thursday evening, January 4, and after a full day of orientation on Friday, there was plenty of excitement and lots of smiles, hugs, and greetings as the families picked them up late that afternoon.

Saturday was a holiday - Three Kings Day - so we postponed the usual excursion to the beach for a week in order to give students the opportunity to celebrate with their families. We look forward to seeing the students in class Monday to hear about their weekend activities.

We're having technical difficulties with the digital camera, and hope to get that resolved soon!
