Goshen students will be living in Santo Domingo with Dominican
host families from May 7 to June 20. They'll study Spanish, take
field trips, and study Dominican history, culture, economics, and
more.
Goshen
College works closely with UNPHU -- la "Universidad Nacional
Pedro Henriquez Ureña" -- a private university in Santo Domingo.
Students meet at UNPHU for lectures, and the office of development
helps us with transportation and finding host families for GC students.
Students
are studying Spanish at Entrena
most mornings.
The
cooking crew returns from the market. On Wednesdays, the students
meet together at Casa Goshen. They take turns preparing a
meal for each other.
The Goshen students meet with each other at "Casa Goshen"--the
Goshen house--where Bev and Dale live and work. It's five minutes
from UNPHU and ENTRENA.
