Welcome!

23 Goshen College students arrived in Santo Domingo in early May. They'll spend the first seven weeks all living in the capital, studying language and culture. Apart from studying, life with a Dominican host family, fieldtrips, and service placements form key experiental parts of SST.

The last seven weeks, students will disperse to usually rural locations where they'll work with local schools, clinics, or social service agencies, and complete individual projects of country study.
