Adam Law is teaching English at the Carmen Almanzar English Institute in Salcedo. In this large picture of Carmen and her family, Carmen is at right (in white) with her mother and her three daughters who also teach at the institute (and are all lawyers as well!). Nicole Kandel and Ben Smucker are at the Clinica Cristiana de Salud Integral in San Juan de la Maguana--working in the pharmacy, doing office work, and, yes, even helping out in surgery. Here's Niki with her Lebanese-Dominican host mom.
