Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention
The Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention program, created by Dr. Paul Lam is the perfect “starter kit” for anyone wanting to learn about tai chi, or for a beginning place for those that have not exercised in a while. Don’t let the word “Arthritis” prevent you from trying it. This program is being used around the country in so many ways. This program is so effective that the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has placed it on their list of “Evidenced Based Exercises”. All you need are loose comfortable clothes so that your energy flows and flat soled shoes (think Keds) and a learning mind. This can even be done in a chair! So if you get tired, you can sit and keep participating.
