Now, some 20 years later in the year 2000, my father (above) was back again as SST director. By getting 'bumped' from a flight earlier in the year, they managed to invite me down to spend two weeks with them. It was interesting to return and reflect on what things had changed in Costa Rica and what had stayed the same.
