I meant to send a note to you after Mara returned the end of July, but it didn't happen. So, I take time now to express my appreciation to you, Jane and Jerrell, for all you did for Mara and the group(s). It was, and remains, an incredibly challenging experience for her. Your steadfast support, love, faith, friendship and leadership through these 3 months was crucial. Thank you. (Our son, Ross, affirms your role as excellent SST leaders!) Mara arrived home Tues. night for Christmas break. We're loving having time with her as she continues to process her experiences and make plans for after graduation. (She's also drafted me into her daily 4-mi. walks.) May this find you wrapped in the glory of the season as your family celebrates the birth of our Savior.
