Dear Sons,
What a glorious day. You both arrived earlier than forecasted.
We weren't ready but we were joyful and proud. There were many
prayers offered to God for health and protection.
From that day forward we have not disconnected that prayer line.
Each stage of life
brought new challenges. As you entered new stages we entrusted
you to God. It is
evident that God heard those requests.
After high school you entered a significant stage of independence,
freedom and
adventure. You had many decisions facing you. You chose a college
experience at
Goshen. You each chose a different degree path, experienced SST
in the Dominican
Republic and formed new relationships. During the past four years
our prayers were
offered on your behalf. Never did we doubt God's faithfulness
to you.
As you leave Goshen, you face new stages and experiences in life.
In those
experiences we encourage you to respect others and yourself as
important
children of God. Our prayers for guidance will continue.
