The master of science degree program in nursing offered by Goshen College, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association, is built on a venerable tradition of excellence in nursing education at the undergraduate level versed in the core values of the college.

The master of science in nursing degree program offers two tracks of study:
  1. The Family Nurse Practitioner program
  2. The Clinical Nurse Leader program
The program is designed for the registered nurse who is a graduate of a baccalaureate program in nursing, and is conveniently designed with courses meeting once per week during late afternoon and evening hours.  The family nurse practitioner program is comprised of 48 credit hours and the clinical nurse leader program is comprised of 40 credit hours.  Both programs prepare students for the certification exam in the selected track of study.

A distinctive feature of our program is an emphasis on nursing care in a culturally diverse society.  We give heed to providing care that values understanding of the patient story.  Included in this is a focus on care to those who are marginalized in our society.
