GOSHEN, Ind. – Voices-n-Harmony, Goshen College’s gospel choir, will present a spirited fall concert, “An hour of power … Be prepared for an encounter with the highest praise,” on Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall.

The concert will feature traditional and contemporary gospel praise and worship songs by Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Martha Munizzi and others. There will be several, yet unnamed, guest community musicians, though Lavender Jazz will not perform with Voices-n-Harmony during this concert, as they have in the past.

Under the direction of Patrice Penny Henderson of Elkhart, Ind., the choir includes Goshen College students, faculty, staff and community members of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds who sing to proclaim the power of God’s love. It is an associate choir of Goshen College’s Music Department, Community School of the Arts and the Multicultural Affairs Office.

Henderson has worked with church and community choirs for 15 years in the Michiana area. She is currently an elementary music specialist in the Elkhart Community Schools as well as choir director at Agape Missionary Baptist Church in Elkhart.

Admission for the program is $6 adults, $4 seniors/students. GC students free with valid ID. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
