WOLF LAKE, Ind. – Children will have the opportunity to explore animal night life at the 20th annual Enchanted Forest at Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center of Goshen College (near Wolf Lake, Ind.) on Oct. 22 and 23, from 7 to 9 p.m.
The child-welcoming and environmentally-friendly evening is an alternative to Halloween and consists of a guided hike to meet and learn about nocturnal animals in their natural habitat. Children and their parents can ask the animals questions about where they live, what they do or anything else. There will also be entertainment by Mark and Liza and hot chocolate.
"This is one of the best ways of contact for families to experience nature at night," said Luke Gascho, executive director of Merry Lea.
Merry Lea's Farmstead is located outside of Wolf Lake, Ind., off U.S. 33, at the junction of State Road 109 and County Road 425 W.
Tickets for the event are $2.50 and can be purchased at the barn. If you have questions, call (260) 799-5869.
