Maple Leafs lead conference with 54 All Academic Awards; Goshen has record number of scholar-athletes in 2008-09
GOSHEN, Ind. –Goshen College continued to be honored this summer as 54 student-athletes placed on the Mid-Central College Conference All-Academic Teams in 2008-09.
The Mid-Central College Conference recognized a total of 332 student-athletes from its nine member institutions and across its 14 intercollegiate athletic programs. Goshen had the most student-athletes honored in the conference, with 54 selections, a record number for the college.
In order to be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must be in their third, fourth or fifth year of eligibility and achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.4.
