Summer Music Together® classes begin soon at Goshen College's Music Center
GOSHEN, Ind. – Families may still register for Music Together® summer classes beginning soon at the Goshen College Music Center. These classes for infants through 5-year-olds and their adult caregivers will begin July 12, and are taught by licensed music specialist Jenny Campagna. Classes are limited to 12 participants.
Music Together® classes build on a young child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement, and encourage development of skills through playful and developmentally appropriate songs, chants and activities. Studies show that music learning can significantly impact a child's language, intellectual, physical and emotional development. Classes also help parents and caregivers experience ways to contribute to the enrichment of their child's music environment regardless of their own musical abilities.
Class dates are Tuesdays and Fridays on July 12, 19, 22, Aug. 2, 5, and 9. Families may choose class times of 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., or 6 p.m. Tuition is $100 per family for all classes and materials. Older siblings may also attend the class if space permits.
For more information about Music Together® classes, financial aid or to register, call the Music Center office at 574-535-7361, visit the Music Center office in person or go online at www.gcmusiccenter.org.
