She will perform works by J.S. Bach, Dietrich Buxtehude, Jean Titelouze, Girolamo Frescobaldi and Jehan Alain.

Walton has held her current position since 1988. She has degrees from Westminster Choir College and the Eastman School of Music, where she earned a doctorate in organ performance. The choir functions regularly in a role of liturgical leadership at the Sunday 10 a.m. Solemn Mass and at Sunday evening vespers at the Basilica. The repertoire of the choir includes sacred music from the Renaissance through the 21st century. In May, the Liturgical Choir will sing concerts in Madrid, Toledo, Barcelona and Majorca.
