GOSHEN, Ind. – A Christian College Fair and Concert at Goshen College on Friday, April 15 will feature musicians Kierra "Kiki" Sheard and Pastor Jonathan "YPJ" Miller alongside Goshen College's Voices-n-Harmony gospel choir in the Music Center. After a 6 p.m. college fair featuring admission and scholarship information from more than 10 Christian colleges (which is a free event), the concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Churches and organizations are invited to bring their youth.
Sheard, from the family of the legendary gospel group The Clark Sisters, presents a grown-up style, sound and spiritual perspective that is all her own. Through her music and her own life, she hopes to nurture and encourage people spiritually and naturally. Sheard takes cutting-edge music with a mass-appeal that could be at home in churches and clubs alike, and brings her open declaration of the love and awesomeness of God.
Pastor Jonathan Miller, aka YPJ, is the pastor of Faith Apostolic Ministries in South Bend, Ind. Also blessed with various musical abilities, YPJ is the founder of Flesh vs. Christ Chorale, a group of 12 singers and 7 musicians. They have released three Gospel projects including their latest album entitled "Unison."
