GOSHEN, Ind. – Four Goshen College choirs will present sacred and secular choral music as part of the annual Winter Choral Concert on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Goshen College Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall. Performing will be the Goshen College Chorale and Men's Chorus, directed by Assistant Professor of Music Scott Hochstetler, and the Goshen College Chamber Choir and Women's World Music Choir, directed by Professor of Music Debra Brubaker.

The choirs will present choral works from a variety of cultures and countries and in a variety of languages. Several selections were chosen with a nod to the close proximity of the Valentine's Day holiday.

Hochstetler is assistant professor of music at Goshen College, where he teaches applied voice and conducting. He holds a doctor of musical arts degree in choral conducting from Michigan State University, a double master of music degree in conducting and voice from the University of Michigan, a master of arts degree in teaching from Western Oregon University and a bachelor's degree in music and biology from Goshen College.
