According to the L.A.
Times, this Grammy award winning string quartet
"remains the standard by which all other quartets must be
judged." Juilliard String Quartet champions the grounds of
chamber music through pedagogy and public presentation.
Founded in 1946, Juilliard String Quartet has continuously
impressed audiences with their boldness to combine its
interpretation of the classics and of contemporary pieces.
Juilliard is dedicated to liberating underperformed masterworks.
They are notorious for performances marked by structure clarity,
beautiful sound, purity of line and astonishing harmony of
purpose.
This season includes amazingly talented new first violinist Nick
Eanet, performing in his inaugural year with the quartet. Other
members include Ronald Copes (violin), Samuel Rhodes (viola) and
Joel Krosnick (cello).
