Goshen College to host Presidential inauguration watch
WHAT: An interactive and educational gathering at Goshen College to watch the inauguration of Barack Obama, the first African-American U.S. president
WHEN: Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Doors will open at 11 a.m.
WHERE: Umble Center
WHO: Students, faculty and staff of Goshen College will gather, and the public is invited.
ADMISSION: Free
PURPOSE: This will be an historic event and we view it as an excellent educational opportunity. The event will include viewing on a very big screen of the swearing-in ceremony of President Obama and his inaugural address, and will also include a time of comments, context and perspective by Goshen College students and professors, as well as reaction from audience members.
