GOSHEN, Ind. – The Goshen College Performing Art Series is
starting the new year off with a humorous performance by four-time
Grammy award winner Peter Schickele (also known as P.D.Q. Bach) on
Sunday, Jan. 24 at 4 p.m. in the Music Center's Sauder
Concert Hall.
Tickets are still available for the concert for $40, $35, $20

Schickele
graduated from Swarthmore College in 1957 with a degree in music
and from the Juilliard School with a master's degree in
musical composition.
Internationally recognized as one of the most versatile artists in
the field of music, Schickele has composed more than 100 classical
works for symphony orchestra, choral groups, chamber ensemble,
voice, film and television. In addition to composing, Schickele is
acknowledged as one of the greatest satirists of the 20th century
in his role as the humorous and now classical P.D.Q. Bach.
A familiar piece Schickele arranged was one of the musical segments
for the Disney animated feature film, Fantasia 2000.
