Since 1980, the Strings Preparatory Department has used the celebrated Suzuki method to introduce the joy of learning stringed instruments to children ages 5-18. Private lessons, which a parent attends so that he or she can help at home, are complimented by group instruction. Students benefit from both solo and group performance opportunities.
