Founded in 1966, the Piano Preparatory Department offers private and group instruction to pre-college students ages 7-18. Elementary and intermediate students use the popular Music Pathways method and supplemental materials from a variety of sources. As students advance they enjoy the vast wealth of classical and contemporary music composed for the piano.
