| The Carpet tiles used in the bedrooms and offices - made by Interface - have some recycled content in their backing and are recyclable. The individual squares can be replaced when worn so the entire carpet does not need to be replaced. |  |
| Floor tiles - consisting of recycled cork and rubber - are used on the remaining rooms and hallways. |  |
The adhesives used for both the carpet and the floor tiles were environmentally safe and solvent free.

| The ceiling slats are made of local tulip poplar lumber. The spacing of the tulip poplar boards dampens the sound in the room. The brown paint creates a shadow effect in the gaps between boards. |  |
