Sessions 2 – Field Biologist
A- Bird Banding
- Watch as trained bird banders remove
birds from nets, gather data on the age and health of
the bird and place the bands. Participate in bird release.
B- Salamander
Hunt
- Take a hike with a wildlife biologist
who studies salamanders. Learn how this research is conducted and visit
temporary ponds to search for these wonderful, elusive creatures.
C- Water
Testing
- Don a pair of waders and help to perform
water quality tests with the help of professional water quality monitors.

field of environmental education.
