Scheduling Policies

When can I schedule?
Merry Lea field trips are divided into seasons; Spring or Sugar Bush, Fall, Summer and Winter.  Because Spring and Fall schedules are quickly filled, no school can sign up for these programs prior to a set opening day of scheduling.  Field trips are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis after the opening dates.  To schedule a field trip you may call or e-mail Merry Lea after the appropriate opening date. 

Opening dates for scheduling:  
 
Spring or Sugar Bush - September 1
Fall - April 1
Summer or Winter - Anytime
 
All field trips are scheduled according to the dates listed above.
When you call or e-mail to schedule, please have the following information ready:

Your name
Number of students
Names of other teachers coming
Number of classes
School name
Which program you want
School address
Preferred day(s)for your field trip
School phone number
e-mail address, if you have one
Grade level
 
On the opening days of registration periods, calls may be made & e-mail sent before Merry Lea’s office is open. You may leave a voice mail message with the information indicated above. We will process the requests in the order in which they arrive.We cannot schedule rain dates for programs, due to the demand for our programs. If your program needs to be cancelled due to dangerous or inclement weather, we will do our best to reschedule your program.

If you are forced to cancel for reasons unrelated to weather, you may be subject to our cancellation policy.  Please make note of this policy and make sure to plan ahead.
