World Newspapers

Oral Communications students often are given the assignment to read one major world newspaper, daily, throughout the semester. The Good Library subscribes to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal in print and to several databases that contain world newspapers.

To read a world newspaper, students may visit the library or search for world newspapers via the databases and links listed below.

Newspaper Databases

  • Alternative Press Index – international and interdisciplinary news of cultural, economic, political and social change.
  • LexisNexis – news, legal information, business, medicine and reviews.
  • NewsBank – local, regional, and national U.S. newspapers, full-text.
