Teacher Education

Teacher Education provides courses and laboratory experiences that prepare students to become teachers in early childhood settings and kindergarten as well as in elementary and secondary schools. The library is a major link in this endeavor.

Subject heading searching can be more productive than searching by simple keywords. Ask a Librarian for assistance.

Finding Journal Articles

Journal articles provide information on current developments, research trends, and hot topics. There are specific databases that cover the literature in the discipline. Once articles are identified through the appropriate database, look up the journal title in the library's catalog to see whether the library has that journal. If not, articles may be requested through Interlibrary Loan.
