Current Projects
I am currently working on a study of cosmopolitanism and national identity in nineteenth-century Irish writing.
Research
My research interests include: Irish Studies, nationalist movements, and post-colonial literature. History of Victorian theatre and popular entertainment. Cultural history of travel literature. Subjectivity and representation in Victorian novels and popular culture.
