Every 15 Minutes, walked around the lab, watching for students eating or drinking in lab. Reminded them of the rules and made sure they left or got rid of the food or drink item.
Checked for the projector remote control in the cabinet

Beginning and Closing shift duties
Check the Daily Punch List for current information which is now located at: M:\Share\ITS-STA\STA Binder NEW! Please be aware of these new beginning and end shift proceedures For the Following shifts: 5:30-7pm, 7-9pm, 9-11pm and Saturday 2-4pm If you are working the 2-4pm shift at the HelpDesk on Saturday, the last thing you should do is push the button on the phone so the line is forwarded to the library! If you are working the 5:30-7pm shift at the HelpDesk, the last thing you should do is push the button on the phone so the line is forwarded to the library! Before leaving at 7pm place the sign stating the STA is at the library on the helpdesk counter If you are working the 7-9pm shift at the library, the first thing you need to do upon arriving is push the button on the phone to make sure the line is forwarded to the library (incase the last STA at the HelpDesk did not). If you are working the 7-9pm shift at the library, the second thing you need to do upon arriving is check for messages (incase someone called the HelpDesk after 4pm on Saturday). Note* the phone at the library will not blink to indicate a message is waiting. To check for messages pick up the phone and dial 7123, enter 5553 # enter password posted at Library station # 3 If you are working the 9-11pm shift at the Library the last thing you should do is push the button on the phone so the line is forwarded to ITS! Regular Closing Shift Duties (check if all performed) Made sure the cabinets were all locked Made sure any books/CD that are checked out were returned and locked up Made sure the printer trays were full.
