Place several pictures into their own PowerPoint slides, all at once.

  • Start with putting all the pictures into their own folder.
  • Open a new powerpoint file.
  • Click on the Insert menu.
  • Click on Pictures.
  • Click on New Photo Album.
  • Click on Insert Pictures from File/Disk.
  • Browse to the folder that contains all the pictures and open that folder.
  • Select all the pictures in that folder (ctrl+A) and click on Insert. It generates a list of the pictures that are in this new photo album.
  • Click on Create. It then creates a new slide for each picture that is in the photo album.

o   Testing a CoRAID storage appliance
o   Now archiving GC File after each semester.

Services
o   Upgraded mail.goshen.edu to a four core system, more than doubling its performance.
o   Upgraded GC Online to new, signfiicantly faster hardware.
o   Incorporated the Career Mentor function into the online Alumni directory.
o   Implemented CAS (Central Authentication Services), which provides single sign-on functionality for GC web services.
o   Helped implement BookNow!, a service that simplifies book ordering for registered students.
