ITS is pleased to welcome Ryan Rittenhouse (GC '03) and Paul Ortman (Bethel, KS '01) to the ITS staff. Ryan and Paul wilI fill positions being vacated by Tim Boshart and Velin Kounev (GC '03).  Ryan began work Monday, May 23rd and Paul is scheduled to start in July after completing his Master's thesis defense and presenting at several conferences in June.

Ryan spent the last two years in Memphis, TN, working as a system administrator for Glasteel corporation.  While at GC, Ryan was a part of the "Dream Team" that wired all the GC residence halls for ethernet and cable TV during the summer of 1997. Ryan and his wife Jamie are looking forward to getting settled into the Goshen community after their stint in the big city.

Paul Ortman got his first taste of small college IT at Bethel College, KS, where he worked for two years following graduation in the college's IT department doing everything from system administration to webmastering to end user support.  He spent the last two years working on a Masters in Computer Security at Idaho State University. While most of his colleagues are moving on to positions with the NSA or the military, Paul felt called back to small college IT. We couldn't be more pleased.

Even as we say good bye to Tim and Velin, we are pleaed and excited about the gifts, energy and enthsiasm Paul and Ryan bring to their positions. Let the golden age of GC IT continue.
