Tip:  Saving A File In PDF Format

GC computers have Adobe Acrobat Pro installed, so they can save a file as a PDF file.

  • On a PC, choose Print from the File Menu.
  • Click on the drop-down list of printers and choose Adobe PDF.  Click OK.
  • A Save PDF File As window will open.  Type in the file name you wish to give the PDF file.  Click on Save.
  • On a Mac, choose Print from the File menu.
  • Click on the PDF button and choose Save as PDF.
  • A Save window will open.  Type in the file name you wish to give the PDF file, deleting the .XLS extension and replacing it with .PDF then click on Save.

Acer 20 The video world is going widescreen and so is Goshen College.  Thanks to falling LCD prices, ITS was able to place 20" widescreen monitors in Schertz Union 002 lab, and soon in the Good Library Lab. Students on campus this summer are already enjoying the increased screen real estate.  Combined that with the new 64 bit lab computers we're placing this summer and you've got a computer lab experience that's hard to beat. It's all part of our commitment to put our best technology where the students are.
